Tepedino, Berezowski e Poppa was founded in April 2011 by a group of lawyers with a significant presence in litigation law, which provided them with extensive experience in civil, corporate and administrative claims, representing cases before the Judiciary, from Arbitration Courts and administrative authorities.

Tepedino, Berezowski and Poppa's philosophy, which they consider to be their main differential, is the personal and intensive participation of their partners in all stages of the service provided, the depth of analysis and the care with the technical and even stylistic aspects of their works, cultivating classic aspects of advocacy such as oratory and rhetoric, but with didacticism and objectivity in order to adapt them to modern times. Our understanding is that a cause will be so much more successful the more fluid and interesting its understanding is.

The firm values the rich and comprehensive experience of its members in various areas of law, although with a greater focus on corporate issues (in the broadest sense), as it understands that its expertise is to litigate in general, and not in specific niches.

In line with these values, we are composed of a lean team, formed by members with solid legal formation and extensive experience in the practice of law, and we do not act in mass causes, but only in those that demand unusual solutions and involve high challenges.

Due to its extensive experience with judicial and arbitration litigation, the firm has also developed a rich consulting practice involving these topics, with a distinguished practice before banks and investment funds interested in investing in litigious claims. In this area, we produce legal opinions, evaluate and develop strategies, follow up or assume the conduction of causes that have financing or investment from third parties.

In addition, we also advise clients in various operations that involve, to some extent, risks related to the contentious area, and we also act in pre-litigation consulting, negotiations, and mediations.

Its headquarters are in São Paulo, its main market, where the firm has a strong presence. But it also has extensive experience before the Courts of other states, including with the Superior Court of Justice and the Federal Supreme Court, where it works with renowned partner firms that share the same principles.

Among other references, the firm is listed in Band 2 of the Chambers and Partners ranking for Dispute Resolutions, being the only one among those listed in the category solely dedicated to the litigation area and with less than 20 members.
